Yamashita's Egi OH K squid jig is one of the most advanced series regarding hydrodynamic design. In addition to the innovations Warm Jacket and 490 glow it has a fin on the lower back of the body, like a rudder, for the perfect angle of sinking and presentation of the bait.
This design is intended to attract the big and crafty squids that don't eat if the bait moves curiously (e.g. spins while sinking). The body shape is hydrodynamically designed for smooth darting motion and the eyes are flat against the body and help make a smooth darting action in the water.
The sinker has holes to easily add weight if conditions call for it and the two sets of hooks, with a different opening angle for the most effective hooking even of low activity squids. The eye, in some, if charged, is fluorescent blue (490 glow) to make it easier to be located the squid jig, since in this color length, the squid vision is optimal, while in others it reflects UV, ideal for daytime fishing with limited light. The K series is designed for "difficult" situations, when the squid does not eat or when, due to currents, the other squid jigs do not work properly!
