The Okuma Cavalla 2-Speed reel, featuring a lever drag, was designed to withstand challenging techniques and conditions.
Its body is a single piece, constructed from cold-forged 6061-T6 grade aluminum and features only one side plate. The rigid body transforms it into an elegant and durable weapon in the hands of skilled anglers practicing techniques such as jigging, tai rubber, trolling, etc.
The last thing you should be concerned about with the Okuma Cavala is the possibility of corrosion, as in addition to the durable aluminum, the internal mechanical parts are stainless steel.
Okuma has equipped the Cavalla 5-IILX reel with a robust carbonite drag system that offers minimal inertia and generates a resistance ranging from 7 to 11 kilograms.
