The Eginio of the Egido series from the Oceanic Team is a round profile x8 (eight strand) line suitable for the eging technique and in pink color which is clearly visible during our night fishing!
Chosen for the Mediterranean Eging fishing, it has properties that meet our own needs. First and better is the resistance to the abrasion of the bottom rocks and second the quick sinking so that we can better deal with the strong currents.
It has a diameter in PE proportionally the same as the Japanese scale which means it's extremely thin to wraps properly on the mechanism spool, not to make tufts, to have an excellent feeling of the squid jig and to give us the possibility of long casts!
The yarn is manufactured in South Korea in a factory with a high level of know-how and quality control, while its coiling is done using the "coil-coil" method.
Available in a package of 150m and in two useful diameters: PE #0.6 & PE #0.8.
