The Penn® Battle® III is now stronger, smoother, and more durable than ever before. Combining the proprietary CNC Gear™ technology, the HT-100™ carbon fiber drag system, and a full metal body, the Battle III has the guts and the power to handle serious situations.
With sizes ranging from 1000 to 10000, the Battle III series has a model for every angler, offering incredible value for the price.
Its body is entirely made of metal, maintaining perfect synchronization of all its mechanical parts, even under heavy loads. Its spool features rubber rings that hold the line in place and prevent it from rotating independently of the spool.
Internally, it is equipped with a Brass Pinion Gear and a central Aluminum Gear.
Technologies :
CNC Gear™ Technology
In the construction of reels, precision is a crucial factor. That's why Penn utilizes technology and machinery that allow them to produce their own gears from solid metal, cut by computer. Compared to gears produced from molds, the mechanical parts of the Battle® reels are not only stronger but also work with much greater precision. The perfect alignment of the mechanical parts results in flawless operation and a mechanism that performs in the most challenging conditions.
Metal Body and Side Frames
Tough character, tough shell. In the body of the Battle®, distortions are not allowed, resulting in all mechanical parts always remaining in complete alignment.
HT-100™ Carbon Fiber Drag System
The carbon drag system used by Penn is of the highest quality and is lubricated with Penn® grease, ensuring smooth and linear operation even under high resistance. The drag system is designed to withstand the retrieval of 100 meters of line without wearing down the drag discs.
The Superline spool
Ready to accommodate the line, the Battle®'s spool features a rubberized ring that holds the line in place and prevents it from slipping.
