The carbon brake system (carbonite drag system) take off the power of the mechanism which, despite its small size, reaches the 4.3kg brake power and make it capable of dealing with any prey while the compact and pop-up aluminium handle with oversized grip, gives even more ease and power in handling during the "battle".

The Automatic Lubrication System is usually found on Okuma's more expensive models and is an Okuma innovation. The main gear of the mechanism includes a lubricant-soaked, copper ring at its center.
