Information

The Japanese company Daiwa has repeatedly proven its value in the field of Shore Jigging, by manufacturing highly technical rod models, that cater to every budget and fishing need. This time, they have returned with a new rod for enthusiasts of the coastal technique, which not only catches the eye but also impresses with its capabilities and versatility.

Daiwa Grandwave Shore Jig is a highlydynamic rod, designed 100%for demanding Shore Jigging, it can handle difficult fishing spots, with the aim of being able to face any opponent, with particular ease and regardless of the weather conditions. The behavior of the Daiwa Grandwave is excellent and possess the ability for extremely long precision shots and at the same time provide immediacy in your shot so that you feel every contact with your target with game.

Let's take a closer look at some technical details of the Grand Wave. It is a rod, with a different manufacturing philosophy, whose main objective is unlimited casting length, as well as a progressive depositing tension on the opponent in a particularly linear fashion. Indeed as long as the rod bends, it does not show indefinite increases in tension, as a result of which we get the most out of our knots and can bring in a big game, even if it is not hooked well.

With Daiwa's Grandwave Shore Jigging rods you will have the ultimate feeling of your jig and very direct hooking. It is also impressive that his cast remains particularly effective, even against the weather.

With Grandwave Shore Jigging you will fish – in addition to jigs – also large Silicone lures, Poppers and Sinking Pencils, always within the range of its Casting Weight.

At the same time Daiwa did not neglect the aesthetic side of the Grand Wave rods, making a beautiful rod for Shore Jigging, with a glossy Aegean blue finish.

In summary, the Daiwa Grand Wave rods are a very specialized series, for the most demanding technique.

Technologies :

HVF

Unlike regular carbon fiber rods with a high resin content in the space between the carbon fibers, DAIWA HVF (High Volume Fiber) rods are made from a carbon fiber compound with less resin, called HVF. Since the resin is heavy, HVF rods are more compact, lighter and faster acting. Nanoplus: The resin material is first enriched with a nanoalloy compound and then used to connect the single carbon fibers, thus allowing the design of very light and strong pieces.

X45

This manufacturing process is the superposition of spiral carbon fibers (90°), unidirectional fibers (0°) in three layers and two thicknesses of carbon created by two opposing helical windings (45°). These two extra cross wraps gave the name Bias Cross Wrap.
The X45 carbon wrap adopts elasticity and returns to the original shape, regardless of the loading angle of the workpiece.

COMPOSANTS FUJI

The FUJI logo is attached to a Daiwa rod that features at least one FUJI component, even if it's a reel seat or a guide. FUJI KOGYO CO., LTD was established on January 20, 1945 in Japan and is the world's leading rod component manufacturer. Daiwa and Fuji have been working together as Japanese manufacturers for decades. FUJI has the technical know-how to meet the increasingly demanding demands of anglers. In this respect, the company is on the same wavelength as Daiwa in terms of placing innovation at the service of the angler.

FUJI FAZLITE

One of the latest innovations from the Japanese manufacturer Fuji! These rings use the so-called ceramic Fazlite with deep blue highlights. Their density is placed between Alconite and "Concept O". Thus, they show excellent resistance to vibration and heat and are fully compatible with 4, 8 and 12 strand braids. They inherit the anti-mesh K frame shape with an anti-corrosion "CC" finish (corrosion control frames).
