The Carnelian 2500 is the bigger brother of the 12000, with the main differences being the twice as powerful drag system and the significantly larger capacity, essential for Heavy Casting.
It's a reel designed for 100% heavy-duty use and unconventional fishing, as its design by Ryobi was specifically intended for this purpose.
